History

JIHLAVAN as a trademark dates back to 1952 – since then, the factory has become a modern industrial enterprise.
Initially, production was based on license programs for aircraft IL-10, Yak-14, and IL-14, as well as hydraulic components for MiG-15, MiG-19, and MiG-21 manufactured under our own trademark.
In the 1960’s, our company launched development and production of hydraulic technology of own provenance, e.g., for aircraft L-200 Morava, Z-37 Čmelák, and L-29 Delfin.
In the 1970’s and 1980’s, our technology proved its mettle in the L-39 Albatros aircraft, and a commuter Turbolet L 410.

During the 1990’s, we supplied aggregates to the L-59 Super Albatros aircraft and launched development of advanced hydraulic components for the L-159 ALCA aircraft.
Over 10,000 aircraft have been equipped with hydraulic Jihlavan’s technology.
